12th. Annual Interclub Tournament 2007

We just had our 12th Annual Interclub Tournament. The purpose of this tournament is to give some insight as to what to expect from the coming season and to primarily showcase what the beginners have learned so far. The referees were Sensei Paul, Sensei Soo and Sensei Julie, with the additional black belts rotating to gain experience as referees.

We would like to thank our sponsors, Chris & Kathryn Knight, A1 Cleaning, the Earley family, Fawcet Memorial Hospital, Buckingham Automotive and the VFW Post 8203 who generously sponsored our perpetual trophies.

Awards were also given out for hard work, self discipline, self confidence, dedication and honor. just some of the attributes that karate instills in our students.

Last year's winners were, Jesse King, Kathryn Knight, Cameron Lee, Alexi Defeo, Guy Guenther, Jr., and Martina Vale.

A new award this year, the Shotokan Tiger Award for courage went to Deric Ramos.

The winner of the private lesson, raffled for the booster club was Michael Laconca.
